When cancer is excised squamous cell carcinoma of the skin, how is it checked to make sure it does not return?
When you see a Derm suspected skin cancer, a small biopsy is sent to a lab. If it becomes like a squamous cell carcinoma, the patient is usually asked a derma surgeon. The best method is to use the technique of Mohs surgery, when a ball is out, stained, in search of cancer cells. If the margins not clear, another first Slim withdrew again, and again the search. If necessary, a tablespoon third and fourth was deleted. Now, I hasten to add that "balls" are extremely rare. When all margins clear again, the surface is covered with leather graphic, or put together in the style of plastic surgery. Mohs skin cancer + Google might find something .. Only the last component spreads. The other two are growing that erode and bleed into surrounding tissues.
